Plein Air oil painting- 2 afternoon sessions at Bartram’s Gardens in Philadelphia. This historic garden located on the Schuylkill river is a National historic landmark and has everything from formal and community gardens to one of the best views of the Philadelphia skyline accessible to painters.
Topics to be covered include, selecting the subject, compositional elements, plein air technique, and color and tonal relationships within the landscape. A group critique will be held. Workshop will be held rain or shine. Some painting experience recommended. A supply list will be provided.
